Seriously, the World Series has turned into a week-long episode of "Who can spit more frequently?"
And I'm not entirely sure who is winning because players on both teams are setting all kinds of spitting records. Consider that the Yanks and Phillies seem to spit:
– when they make an out
– when they get a single
– when they get a double
– when they strikeout
– when they take a strike
– when they take a ball
– when they hit a home run
– when they don't hit a home run
– when they're on the pitching mound
