And I'm so glad you enjoyed Blueblood...the story came really easily to me (maybe too easy. The third book, Signs, has been more of a struggle). Here's hoping the others in the series keep flowing!
Happy holidays and I'll tak to you soon!
Matt
I posted a review of Blueblood here on Goodreads and Amazon. Thanks again! I enjoyed every second of the story!
Thank you for being cool about that, Totally agree there are far too many. I didn't just undo some lists to ease the notifications, I stopped them almost completely and look at the weekly updates in e-mail. Too much and makes things far more stressful than it should be making reading less enjoyable, too.YW and TY re: your books :)
Melissa wrote: "Hi Matt, Sorry I'm just now seeing your reply..."Hi Melissa - No problem. I'm getting almost overwhelmed by my GR notifications and messages...time to start "digesting" and paring down some lists. :)
Thanks for your well-wishes and thanks also for picking up A Reason to Live. I hope you enjoy it (and Blueblood).
cheers,
matt

Hi Matt, Sorry I'm just now seeing your reply. The notifications are so many that most replies tend to get lost in all of the rest so I've started popping in on profiles to see what's up and say hello.
Goodreads, IMO, is awesome!! I was lost in an extremely bad rut of the same authors for years until I came here. Then an entirely new world opened up and it's raining new Author's, books and awesomeness!! Loving the diversity in all of it and cannot agree you more. The people here are amazing! I hope it brings you much success! Thank you again for "A Reason To Live" on Amazon. Looking forward to reading it and "Blueblood"!!
Def see you around GR,
~*Melissa*~ :)

Hi Melissa - Thanks so much for the kind words! I'm somewhat new to Goodreads (joined in 2007, but almost totally inactive until a few months ago) and have met a ton of great people and readers here. It's been wonderful encouragement to this indie writer. :)
I'll see you around GR!
matt
p.s. I'll be holding more Giveaways and contests soon, as I hope to release Blueblood , the sequel to A Reason to Live , in early-mid August. I'll let all my GR friends know first!

I enjoyed Stephen King's On Writing, it was a book I read quite some time ago, that was leant to me by my cousin. I really enjoyed reading about the process he goes through when writing, and all that he went through in order to get noticed in the world of writers. Definitely one I should read again!

Dear Matthew,I would like to thank you so much for your very unexpected friendship that i am most overwhelmed to have recieved. Goodreads is a fantastic site where one is able to converse with so many likeminded readers both authors and general readers, and as an aspiring author myself it is most useful & inspirational. Thank you also so much for the code of your book so that i can read it online; i am exceedingly obliged and i would like to thank you for hosting a book giveaway here on Goodreads, even one which this time i was unlucky not to win.
I look forward however to reading your work and wish you much sucsess, thank you once again.
Lucinda Xx
