If there's one thing you have to know about me, it's that I love The Killers. Well, there is slightly more to me than that, but that's a good start. So for this Friday Field Trip we're headed off to The Royal Albert Hall in London to watch the boys perform one of my favorite songs.

I think Brandon explains it best:

I first came across Tom Hardy a couple of years ago playing one of my favorite tortured (and torturing) heroes, Heathcliff.












Those eyes, that scowl, those lips, you know I was caught . Who wouldn't be?















And let's not forget that body. Sweet mercy, that body.

















But he's not all scowls and glowers (though you know I love some scowls and glowers). The man has a hell of a smile too.


















Oh yeah, that's the one.

Yesterday was a bad day. A real bad one. And smack in the middle of it all I could think of was getting away. My mind wandered back to this beach. Actually, I'm not sure it was this particular beach. It was a long time ago. But even if it wasn't, this one does nicely. So sit back, kick off your shoes, dip your toes in the sand, and enjoy a little field trip to a tropical beach. I'm telling you, it'll do wonders.

Oh, it's Monday and that can only mean one thing -- pictures of hot guys. So for this inaugural edition of Man Candy Monday I figured I needed someone special. Someone versatile. Someone like Richard Armitage.

Just look at him. He's gorgeous and talented. He can do modern.

He can do period pieces too.

He looks great with out his shirt on, a rare talent indeed.

And he's the got that look. You know the one. The kind where if you glanced up and saw those eyes focused on you, you would stop dead in your tracks. Well, I would at any rate. 

So there you go. The first Man Candy Monday. I think he's worthy. Don't you?

Wanna go fast?

I know not everyone is as big a coaster fan as I am, but here is a little vicarious thrill to get your heart pounding before the weekend. Kingda Ka at Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey is the tallest roller coaster in the world. And fast too. You'll be shot out of the station at 128 miles an hour before climbing a 456 feet. Of course what goes up must come...well,you know.

I admit I'm not a big royal watcher. So I didn't find out about the wonderful world of fascinators until a friend turned me on to them a few years ago. I fell head over heels for these special occasion flights of fancy.
