About this author

I was born in Nineteen Davidey-Dave (all the best people were born that year) and live in London. I write contemporary fiction, a blend of mystery, thriller and humour.

The key theme of all my novels is 'identity' - I am fascinated by people pretending to be something they're not. I bet you're doing that right now, with somebody. Go on, admit it. (I know I am. But that can be our secret.)

My four novels are Auto, Bang, Duallists and Fake Kate. These are all available as eBooks for the Kindle, Nook, Kobo and on iTunes.

I am currently working on Auto 2, due at the end of 2014.

I’ve been handed the baton of this blog tour from Jonathan Hill, a fantastic indie author whose books you really should be reading rather than this blog!

I’m honoured to contribute to this ongoing tour, which aims to lift the bonnet on the inner workings of authors’ minds and take a poke around the engine. Mind my dipstick.

1. What am I working on?

Currently I’m working on Auto 2, the second full-...

" A scary look at what the future of the internet could hold for us, if it increases its grip on daily life, especially social media. Definitely worth a read, even if you've read some of the stories individually. "

FAG by Jonathan Hill
" Disturbing. Brutish. Terrifying. Such are the goings on amongst the students and faculty at Brierley’s Boarding School for Boys. They are also believable. There is no safety net for the reader of “oh, it’s just fiction” or “oh, this is simply an e... " Read more of this review »

There is nothing wrong with a book designed purely for entertainment, but every so often you read one that really means something as well. This is one of those books. It’s important.

Set in a boys boarding school in 1930s England, this novel looks at...more

FAG by Jonathan Hill
" FAG is the story of life in an 1930s English boys boarding school. It is an unsettling read of bullying, intolerance and non-acceptance.

I sort of knew what was going to happen and it wasn't pleasant reading. This was a very well written book. The... " Read more of this review »
