Started off well but quickly lost my interest. I don't mind storylines that are somewhat predictable but I don't have much patience for cliches. I had high hopes for this one but it just wasn't meant to be.

“Charlie massaged his right cheek, feeling a slight sting. “It doesn’t hurt much. I don’t know how it looks” – he lowered his hand and turned his face to the side – “but it can’t be that bad. What do you think? You’d date me, right?”
Alex pushed him away, grinning. “You’re an idiot.”

Marsha Cornelius Hi Alecia,

I noticed that you read A Handmaid's Tale. I have to agree I couldn't stand to live in a world like that. The book stuck with me for so long that I decided, as an author, to take a totally different look at the future when women are in charge and men are subservient.
A Tale of Moral Corruption by Marsha Cornelius
I am looking for a few readers who might be interested in writing a review of A Tale of Moral Corruption in exchange for a free digital copy of the book. You can see a more extensive blurb about the book here.
Please be aware that are sexual situations and violence.
If you are interested in reading, please let me know and I will email you an epub, mobi or pdf.

Thanks so much for considering my request,

Marsha Cornelius

Christine Hatfield Oh that's ok

Christine Hatfield Do you have skype?

M.C. O'Neill Hey, Alecia! I noticed you're reading a book about Shadow People. I've never heard of these creatures before and now I'm watching "Greystone Park" which focuses on Shadow People. Synchronicity, eh? It's called the Baader-Meinhof Effect. You learn of a certain topic you've never come across and then you hear about it over and over within a two week period.

Lucinda Dear Alecia,
I would like to say what a huge fan i am of your work and thank you for being my friend on Goodreads. It is so nice to converse with likeminded people on a topic that is so important to us all, and to chat to authors whom i greatly admire (inc. yourself). Reading and writing are very important factors within my life and it is lovely that yourself, as a reader and great writer are also a part of it.
