I am working on a historical novel. I have been working on it on and off all year. The year before that, I was reading the material that gave me the background to write about it.

Aya Katz The Portrait of a Lover by John Wheatcroft is thoroughly well-crafted literary exploration of unilateral love maintained over a lifetime.

I was the editor for this book at Inverted-A, so I feel this disqualifies me form writing a review, but I do invite you to read the book and see for yourself!
