A.G. Howard is the bestselling author of the Splintered Series, with a slew of other classical spinoffs and original stories in the works that she hopes will soon find a place on the shelves.

She was inspired to write her tribute to Carroll's Wonderland while working at a school library. Her pastimes are reading, rollerblading, gardening, and family vacations which often include impromptu side trips to 18th century graveyards or condemned schoolhouses to appease her overactive muse.

SPLINTERED, UNHINGED, ENSNARED, and UNTAMED, the first four books in her urbanized /gothic Alice in Wonderland series, are now available from Amulet Books. Also soon to be available from Amulet is her Phantom of the Opera spinoff, ROSEBLOOD -- slated to launch Ja

The title of the antho is Slasher Girls and Monster Boys (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...), and the stories are inspired by horror films, both classical and modern. There are tons of wonderful authors contributing, including but not limited to Leigh Bardugo, Marie Lu, and Carrie Ryan.

I’m also editing a women's historical fiction with paranormal elements that my agent and I plan to submit to publishers sometime this year in hopes of finding a home for it. You can find out information about that book here: http://authoraghoward.blogspot.com/20...

Madeleine Richards Hi there,
Thanks for the follow back. I can't wait to get started on "Splintered". I've added it my to be read list, its number 16 so it may be a week or two. I will definitely let you know when I do my review. It seems we don't read a lot of the same authors but our ratings of the one's we do read in common are very similar.

Eris Hi Anita, "Splintered" is one of the books that I shall never forget at all in my life though I have not started it yet... Have you heard of the late Diana Wynne Jones? a author best known for her Howl Series and Chrestomanci Series though I prefer her Howl Series since it was beautifully vivid and fantastical. have you read Howl's moving castle? since I shall reveal my favourite characters of the series soon to you...

Stephanie While sitting at the register, I see a young reader... she's probably about 12 or so... sitting on the ground proped up against one of our book cases reading Splintered :)

Okay.. she's 10. And Dad just bought it for her! I asked to please have her let us know what she thinks... I'm pretty sure she'll love it! She was very excited explaining it to Mom!

HAPPY SATURDAY!

message 33: by Eris

Eris Hi Anita can I just say Splintered was exceptionally awesome since I finished it a while ago :) also you have quite a way of using imagery which was brilliantly talented and amazingly weaved in my mind.

I am thankful that you read Howl's Moving Castle also have you read the sequels to it like Castle in the air and House in Many Ways? lastly you made Morpheus a spectacular character in the book as well the other two main characters.
