Epilogue got me crushing on Caleb all over again...back to book #1 to re-read the series, and get my naughty Caleb fix. He's such a bad boy, wish he was real so I could sit on his face....umm, yeah *blush* so don't know where that comment came from lol. Thanks for being so twisted & creating this captive series, wish I could pick your brain over coffee, bet you're just filled with great ideas :) Can't wait for your next book, whatever it is I know it'll be awesome!

I liked that we got to see his vulnerable side, his fear of losing Livvie, etc. This made me see him as human with feelings, not the monster he was in Captive in the Dark.
Anyway, Bravo! I loved the entire series. It was very dark and intense but captivating for sure.

Others couldn't get behind it for the same reason. Strangely, I think BOTH are true.
This is a fantastic well-written series. I loved Caleb's POV. I have to say, I was not a fan of him at all until Epilogue. I had mixed feelings of hate and sympathy where he is concerned but I think his POV helped me love him in the end.

Hi C.J. I just wanted to thank you, I have read books that claim to be like yours but they don't have the same dynamic that you wrote for Caleb and Livvie. The only book to ever come close was Held by Kimberley A. Bettes and that is in no way a love story and so I will leave the tortured love to you.
Your series is so original and your writing is superb; you inspire me as a writer and I think you should be so proud of yourself.
Thank you for taking your time and speaking to fans (AKA Calebs Kittens) it means the world.
Please never stop writing; because I for one will never stop reading what you have to write.

I've been reading many erotic romance books and I just want to say your books (Dark Duet series) are still my number one! Your writing style still my favorite writing style. I think most writers do not give enough attention to the coherence of the story and your Dark Duet series is so important because there is coherence in the story which makes it look like real. Coherence and balances are two main important features which make a good story better. Without these, even though you have a good starting point, the book becomes unreal, ridiculous and meaningless.So, I want to thank you for your writing style. :)
I had this question for a while now, livvie when she chose the name Sophia Cole. The last name was it because of Caleb ?! His real name was James Cole, does she know that he's Vladek’s son ?!

It would be perfect if the Epilogue turned out to be more than 100 pages. I actualy live with that hope.. so even though i really, really, really want it like right now, i don't mind if it takes a while. Just KEEP WRITING..
Thanks for the friendship! :) I finished your books, CITD & SITD last week and still find myself thinking about them. The characters and the story draw you in; it is dark, gritty and uncomfortable but just so fabulously written. I love stories that make you feel strong emotions and yours certainly did that. Sorry to gush! lol, but it's the truth! I can't wait to read the Epilogue and the Dark Duet Spin off! I'm sure we're all in for another treat! :)

I still plan to write a full-length novel about Agent Reed this year. :)

Ah, yes - chapter 12. I get a lot of grief for that chapter, but in the end, I still think it was necessary. Caleb is a bad boy! ;) Thanks for reading...and not throwing.
