I wouldn't read it again, but I found it to be: brutal, compelling, and psychologically sound. I stayed up all night to finish this book and then had trouble sleeping. The material is raw and it digs into real fear. Although I thought the book was too...more |

The rest of the channels will have to aggregate from Smashwords and can a while. :/ The good news is, you can use the epub from Smashwords to read on your ipad etc.

It would be perfect if the Epilogue turned out to be more than 100 pages. I actualy live with that hope.. so even though i really, really, really want it like right now, i don't mind if it takes a while. Just KEEP WRITING..
Thanks for the friendship! :) I finished your books, CITD & SITD last week and still find myself thinking about them. The characters and the story draw you in; it is dark, gritty and uncomfortable but just so fabulously written. I love stories that make you feel strong emotions and yours certainly did that. Sorry to gush! lol, but it's the truth! I can't wait to read the Epilogue and the Dark Duet Spin off! I'm sure we're all in for another treat! :)

I will confess that I am currently in the process of writing a 100pg novella entitled, Epilogue: The Dark Duet. I'm very excited about it and I hope to have it out soon.
I still plan to write a full-length novel about Agent Reed this year. :)

The very idea that I've changed the way someone views the world is THE biggest compliment one can give an author.
The Dark Duet was a labor of love and while I don't know if I have it in me to create another book that will live up to it, I know this...I am sure as hell gonna try.

First of C.J. thank you for the add. Forgive me but HOLY F-BOMB!!!! SEDUCED IN THE DARK was FLIPPIN AMAZING!!!!! I would like to just say I have read at least 100+ books this year and SEDUCED has got to be my favorite by a huge landslide. Wow, just holy Wow! You are totally fabulous and the fact that you are an author that does not submit to "safe topics" makes me love you that much more. Your duet goes beyond comfort zones, reaches into your audience, rips out their insides and shoves them back in. Lol (raw discription lol) You make us all re-think everthing we know and leaves us in a whirlwind stunned stuper. I am on a severe book high and the only negative I have C.J is that the ride had to end. :-( You are an author that I can't wait to see what the future has in store for you. Bravo!
i still have not read the second book but first i must say that one i devoured this book in 1 day, and than i have read it 2 more times since than! i can not wait to read the second book. and you are brilliant, just brilliant.
I can't believe how intense the Dark Duet is! I just finished Seduced in the Dark and I can't get it out of my mind. I'm experiencing that depression you feel when a book or a series is done, but you're just not done with the characters. You can't help but want to know more about their lives, their future. Ugh! I find myself going back and rereading some parts because I can't let it go. The true test of great books! Thank you, and I hope to hear more about Caleb/James and Livvie/Sophia. Anything would be good!
