is on page 53 of 336 of Determined to Matter: I wasn't sure I liked the blog format for this style at first, but it lends an immediacy to the story--as if it's happening now. Ultimately, I think it was a good decision--it preserves the personalities of the people. Even though this is a difficult read--to imagine the pain these folks went through, I do want to see the rest of their story.

To kick off the re-release I am doing a goodreads giveaway: 3 lucky fans will be picked on the 15th of June, and should get their books just in...more |

“There is a crucifix, a few cloves of garlic, a wooden stake, a hammer, a blob of Silly Putty, and a pocketknife. “You do realize these people aren’t vampires, right?” I say when Sam walks back in. “Yeah, but you never know. They’re probably crazy, like you said.” “And even if we were hunting vampires, what the hell is the Silly Putty for?” He shrugs. “Just want to be prepared.”

“Harry!" said Fred, elbowing Percy out of the way and bowing deeply. "Simply splendid to see you, old boy-"
"Marvelous," said George, pushing Fred aside and seizing Harry's hand in turn. "Absolutely spiffing."
Percy scowled.
"That's enough, now," said Mrs. Weasley.
"Mum!" said Fred as though he'd only just spotted her and seizing her hand too. "How really corking to see you-”
