About this author

Philip R. Cox has been an engineer in the military-industrial complex for the last thirty years. His career has included the development of many fine spacecraft and WMD's. Amazingly, he is still employed by a major defense contractor. His hobbies are: sniffing for buried NASA bodies; maker and 'lost' technologies; writing Steampunk, historical, science fiction, and non-fiction mash-ups. His latest effort is ”Commander Tesla and the Zeppelins” in Gizmo (Dreams of Steam IV). He has several projects in the works....

He lives in Madison, AL with his wonderful wife of thirty years, and two cats. Occasionally his two daughters drop in to eat his food,annoy said cats, and score tuition money.


Just submitted a proposal to Kickstart for starting up SpaceProletariat.org. Hopefully, an organization to direct hacker and maker folks towards developing space technology using OPEN SOURCE tools and methodologies.
