When I got home, I picked up the first book I saw (Tolkien) read for a while, then fell asleep.

I was promptly transported into a dream where there was a great-looking guy and a beautiful woman, with cold wind blowing in from an ocean. As the days went by, each time I closed my eyes...more

I developed MS when I was 28. I've had dozens of people in my life who qualify as 'Help.'

One is the same color as the maids in the The Help. Juanita arrived twice a week. I would follow her about house; we talked & laughed most of the time.
What does this have to do with "The Help?" Racism is alive and flourishing in the South. When her grand-daughter wasn't permitted to take courses offered... read more »

Lynne Williams Hi Fawn,
I'm glad you were able to get it! The cover does feel a bit like leather, strange, isn't it? I have both versions -- obviously -- since I wanted to see what it looked like on Kindle. I think the book is quite nice, with lots of Celtic borders here and there.
Hope your Mom enjoys it. Thanks always,
Lynne

Fawn Hi Lynne,
I know we had a conversation about me ordering your book for my step mom and the guy had said it was a Hard Cover. (I can't for the life of me find that conversation)Well, they finally called & I have my hot little hands on your book. You were correct it is not a Hard Cover, but....may I say it feels SO Nice! It feels like leather. My mom is going to love not only the beautiful book itself, but the inside as well. I am sure of it! I have it on my Kindle, but thought you would like to know that now that I have seen the real mccoy I am going to get another one for myself!
