Chris Almeida (also known as C. Almeida) began writing children’s stories at a very young age. Born in Brazil but currently living in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Chris’ life took a totally different course when technology came into play, and the following 17 years were spent delving deep into the world of programming and web design.
It was in 2010, when Chris began role playing online as a hobby, that writing wormed its way back into the picture. This time, writing storylines for the role playing group.
The ideas and plots created for the game awoke the inner writer and a few months later, together with partner in crime C. Aubrey, began writing erotic romance.
Now, still together, they have written a number of short stories and novel. They are

Trev and Cassie's anniversary is the date Ceci and I met and began writing together. Picking special dates in our lives for their birthdays and memorable days makes the story even more important to us as they offer a connection between the character and us.(less)

Hi Amy,
Thank you for your interest in our writing process. You are correct! A Lot of our inspiration comes from music. We each use it in different ways but we achieve the same purpose which is to enrich the chapter and characters with the right feel.
When I need to get under a character's skin, I listen to songs I associate with that character. I also listen to mood specific music to write scenes. A sensual scene has a completely different soundtrack than a suspense laden scene would.
We do have some of the characters' playlists on youtube and we also have songs we currently associate with the book(s) we are writing.
We both have Spotify accounts you can follow for the updated playlists.
Hope that answers your questions. :)(less)

Quote by Lt David Grossman

For the last two years, Cecilia and I have been under extreme pressure. While writing the first Countermeasure novels had been easy to both of us, and I had used my background in IT to draw some aspects of that world into the series, Alternate Connection created a dilemma. It veered into a very political conflict and took a dip into military service, something none of us was too familiar with...

“If you think you can just scare the crap out of me and walk home like nothing happened you are very wrong, mister." Cassie's voice, although steady, was now seething with anger. "What the hell happened out there, Trevor!?"

Trevor checked his surroundings, crawled closer to the gate, and popped his head around the corner of the wall to check the house. Again, loud growls echoed in his ears and the gate shook under weight of a body butting up against it. The dogs were right in his face doing what they were trained to do—guard the property.

"Dogs, Cassie...big dogs happened.”
Cecilia Aubrey, To Russia With Love

“With a snort, Trevor responded, “A amadáin? It means you fool, but it’s really a polite Irish way of calling someone an asshole. Since there are no assholes in Ireland, we don’t really have a word for them, so that’s what we say.”

His expression was so serious, Cassandra couldn’t help but burst out laughing. “I’ll have to remember that one. I know a few back home.”
“A few assholes or Irishmen?”
Cecilia Aubrey, Countermeasure

“What do you mean, is that it? I just saved his career and the CIA from ruin and he calls me a perfidious ass."
"What's perfidious mean?" Ace asked from the driver's seat.
"You deceived him and stole his girlfriend out from under his nose," Julia said to Conrad. "I think technically 'ass' is a pretty mild revilement."
"Revilement?" Ace looked at one and then the other in his rearview. "This is some kind of spy talk, isn't it? Okay, I'm down with it. Just tell me what it means.”
Misty Evans, Operation Sheba
