My name is Carlyle Clark and I write YA and adult speculative fiction as well as crime and literary fiction.I was raised in San Diego, went to College in the South, and now reside in the Greater Chicago Area known as Chicagoland. I have trained in several fighting arts including kickboxing, combat wrestling, and Brazilian Jiujitsu, and have earned a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. In 2011 the Writers of the Future judging committee awarded my story, WITCHBLOOD BLUES, a Silver Honorable Mention, and I have been Fanstory Novelist of the Year. The YA Dystopian Urban Fantasy novel I co-authored with Suki Michelle, THE APOCALYPSE GENE, is a Kirkus Critic's Pick.
