Description:
FBI agent and psychic, Brianna Reece, descends from an ancient and powerful bloodline of witches, only she doesn’t know it. But now that legacy has come back to bite her—literally.
In the shadows of night in Denver Colorado, a serial killer is hunting women, and FBI agent Brianna Reece is hunting the killer. Unlike any case she’s worked before, Brianna can’t ignore the prickling at the back of her neck when she glimpses the resemblance she shares with the victims. The investigation begins to touch even closer to home when it is revealed that each of the victims possessed a psychic gift.
Complicating matters further, Brianna is captivated by the FBI’s prime suspect Nathan Donovan. Though she senses he’s hiding something from her, the attraction she feels for him is compelling, and deeper than anything she’s felt before. Through a chance twist of fate, Nathan learns of Brianna’s ancestry and is forced to divulge secrets to Brianna that will change her life forever.
When she discovers the killer is an evil vampire that has now set his sights on her, Nathan alone holds the key to awakening her dormant powers. Now he must race to teach her how to control her emergent gifts before she becomes the next victim.

“Wow! She's hot." Morrison commented while gaping lewdly at the body lying supine on the bed.
Insensitive asshole. I took a deep breath to calm my rising anger. "She's dead agent Morrison. I assure you she's very cold." I rebuked sharply.”

“I love books, by the way, way more than movies. Movies tell you what to think. A good book lets you choose a few thoughts for yourself. Movies show you the pink house. A good book tells you there's a pink house and lets you paint some of the finishing touches, maybe choose the roof style, park your own car out front. My imagination has always topped anything a movie could come up with. Case in point, those darned Harry Potter movies. That was so not what that part-Veela-chick, Fleur Delacour, looked like.”

“Hi," he says. I manage to grunt in response, and his smile broadens. "Rude enough for you?"

I noticed you're from the Netherlands. My mom is from Holland, her maiden name is Vanderlubbe. I would love to visit one day. Anyway, thanks for accepting.
Thanks for your comments about my blog. There are so many great ones out there, and I feel like mine is kind of boring! LOL! But thanks for following me, I'll check out yours, too!Zsadist is definitely my favorite, though after Lover Unleashed V is definitely giving him a run for his money!
I sobbed my way through To Command and Collar. What a book!
Thanks for the friend invite!! I'm always looking forward to chatting up books! I see the WARDen and Cherise Sinclair are a couple of your favorite authors. I'm madly in love with all their heroes!!I wanted to mention that when someone posts a comment in your profile, if you reply there, they won't get any notification of it. It's a quirky GR thing. If you want to reply, you have to go to that person's profile so they'll get the notification.
Anyway, thanks again for the invite!!

That's great! :) If I go again, I should get one! They are very loyal, as those little boys taught me yesterday, but I am too! haha. Also, I just bought your book today on my Nook, I can't wait to read it! :)
Yes! Haha. So we'll see what happens today and tomorrow.Aww, that's amazing!! I would still talk about that too!! He'll get to meet him and get an autograph eventually! Last night there were a TON of foul balls. Most of them came into our section, haha. I was like "I need my mitt!"
And my friend's dad bought us our food, so I didn't have to pay! Which was awesome! :)
Also, the drum guy fascinated me! He hasn't missed a game in 15 years, that's awesome!
LOL. Well we're even then. Good thing. My boys are so funny when we go to games. Actually my older son has been a baseball fan since he was 5. He could tell you ever stat, player, name of position etc. My husband took him to Cleveland when he was 6 and he was right at the wall behind Grady Sizemore(his fav player) throughout the game he was yelling out the names of their plays(ie suicide squeeze) and heckling the players from the other team so much that at one point right after he heckled a player, Grady turned and smiled at him--it's something he still talks about to this day. Though he still hasn't been able to get his autograph and we try every year.
BTW-hope you enjoyed your hot dog considering it was probably about $7. LOL
We won!!! :D You won the first game of the day though, so we're tied for now!!It was really funny, there was three boys with their dads sitting in front of us and they were 10 & two 7 year olds. I argued with the 7 year olds, haha, they didn't "like" me because I'm a Sox fan. The 10 year old liked me and told me his life story. haha. He even high-fived me when we got a run.
I was one of the few Sox fans, it's harder for people to come from Chicago on a Tuesday night in September. So I yelled as much as I could for one person. lol.
Also, I had a hot dog for you!! :)
Tegan Mae wrote: "I will for sure! And that's okay, makes it more fun that way! haha."And please forgive me if I have to rub it in tomorrow after their win.
Tegan Mae wrote: "Going to the White Sox vs. Indians game today!! I'll be sure to let you know how it goes!! :D"Have fun...and enjoy a hot dog for me. And I'm very sorry but I'll be rooting for my Indians!

It's perfect. LOL.
Have you read Tina Folsoms' scanguard Vampire series? If you like Lora Leigh's Breeds you'll probably like her series. I guarantee you if you read the 3rd in the series, Gabrielles Mate, you will not be able to put it down until you figure it out. If you haven't read them you should try it.
P.A wrote: "That's so funny that you said that about Cassie. Most fans assume her book will be the last one just to drive us crazy! LOL! I really want Dog to have a book. I think he is very much given a raw deal because he is basically working for the good guys but is in deep with the bad guys. I loved him when I noticed he refused to touch any of the mated women he came in contact with. He reminds me of Hugh Jackman as wolverine with the whole cigar deal and the swagger lol. I want a book with Dog, most don't agree, but I'm a sucker for the bad boys with issues lol
That's so funny that you said that about Cassie. I have gone through Lora Leigh's Chronology about 5 times hoping that she's written Cassie's story but I couldn't find her name anywhere.I also tried to look online to see if there was any hint of when the story is coming out but there's nothing. I am so bummed.

I had a night where I had nothing to read so I read the first one and stayed up ALL night and read it through!!!! LOL! After that I was sold, I read up to Mercury's War in about two weeks. I was caught up when I got to Styxx's Storm and had to wait for that one. She's teasing the holy living daylights out of us making us wait for Cassie's book let me tell ya LMAO!
I am a little ashamed to admit it..but I love them!LOL She is such an amazing writer. Erotic scenes aside, the story line is totally unique and she is such an emotional writer. I found these books by accident. I thought they were going to be about werewolves--boy was I surprised. The other great thing though, I read so fast that I quickly run out of books I like, so it was great because there's about 21 books already in the series, I'm on Bengal's Heart right now so I still have a few left.
You read Lora Leigh's The Breeds and you LIKE THEM!!!!!!! It is so hard to find other people that actually like these books lol. I am addicted in a bad way lol.
