I guess I'm about as happy as an Old Soul like me can get . . . before the premiere, that is. I feel as if I need a high-back divan to lounge on (no pun!) and say, "Oh, place that bouquet between the roses and the mixed chrysanthemums." Oh, God, what a week. I've had a dentist's appointment, learned wonderful things about the upcoming Vampire Diaries TV show, and tried to figure out how you pronounce some of those insane names I used in the Night World books, so that the audio versions can proceed. It's getting near midnight. This is always a crucial time for me. If I don't go to bed now, I may flip. If I flip I'll be nocturnal.
