A Michigander turned urbanite through adaptation, Kate Grace was ruled by her imagination as a kid and refused to flip the switch when she entered adulthood. She's the author of the dark and emotionally gripping YA novel, Burden of the Soul – the first in a series that follows 17-year-old Clara through a supernatural coming of age journey in which she finds the greatest power and strength imaginable is found within herself.
Kate works as a copywriter by day and a novelist by night and can be found clack, clack, clacking away on her laptop at various coffee shops and tea rooms around Detroit.
Apart from writing, she has stretched her creative legs by performing improv with groups based out of The Peoples Improv Theater in New York City and Go! Comedy Improv Theater in Ferndale, Michigan.
