About this author

Amy J. Strychasz grew up in and around Buffalo, New York. She graduated with a B.A. in English literature from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York. She later pursued an M.S.W. from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and works in the field of social work. Writing fills her free time. She lives in Maryland with her husband, son and three rather needy cats.
