I grew up in Connecticut and lived in New England until I was 23, when I headed for the south west and ended up in a monastery for six-and-a-half years.

During that time I lived in Colorado and Ireland, and briefly in Nova Scotia. It was an amazing time of my life, but I left there for San Francisco in the year 2000.

Three years later I self-published my first book, Silverlance, and two years after that I met my wife, Beth. We moved to Philadelphia in 2005 and now we have a son, Donovan.

I'm working on three novels at the moment, including the third part of the series that began with Silverlance. I'm also working on a non-fiction book based on my ideas about life. I explore these ideas in my blog at http://www.everforward.posterous.com
