Thanks for the quick reply! I've read Sputnik, it was an interesting tale indeed. I like the more modern classics, if I may categorise it as such? Of Human Bondage by Maugham; The Sea, The Sea by Murdoch; The Magician by Maugham; Liza of Lambeth by Maugham, and Moral Disorder by Atwood. I have several others, but those are what come to mind first.
