| It's a cute little book. Stine is good, came up with some creative 13s, I took off a star due to the ending. I don't want to spoil it so I'll just say seeing monsters noone else sees just takes the fun away. Other than that it's a nice little book sn...more | |

| This is a toughy. As a person who has written a "bio" of sorts (My Life as Every Bully's Favorite Victim) it is difficult to put years of abuse into a book and have it all make sense. Every negative review is correct as far as repetition goes and wri...more | |

Thanks for the friending, please feel free to check out my bookshelves, quotes, friends and groups for things that might interest you or you read and forgot about.
Thanks for the friend invite. I enjoyed your video posted on your profile page. It was moving and it takes a lot to put yourself out there on video talking about the trials you endured as a child. It breaks my heart to think of a child going through that. My heartbreak for you is only tempered by the fact that you have become an author and you're sharing your struggles with the world. EVERYONE is flawed in someway or another and I am a true believe that its our flaws that make us unique.
Thanks for the friendvite, David! If you ever need a Paranormal/Urban Fantasy fix then I recommend you check out my blog! I hold giveaways for great series for my followers:http://vampirenovelfan.wordpress.com/
Happy reading!
Yes, that's true. I leave debates if I think people are trying to degrade me or what I believe in, but until that point, I fight for my side! If you can change even one person's mind, I think that means you've done a good job. Or even to get someone to have more respect for your beliefs, you know?
Hahah, yep! I appreciated your additions in the debates. It's so difficult to explain a thing like faith to people who need proof to believe something!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! I won! I won! I can't believe it I won!! *jumps up and down excitedly* Thank u x 100000000000000!!! I won! ^^
Thank you for connecting with me, Its so good to have another book loving reader as a goodreads friend. I look forward to sharing my love of books with you. Please check out my book blog "Where Every Book = A New Adventure", if you haven't already. -♥-
David wrote: "Yea someone just left a comment. i tested it and nothing I can do for the forms submit button to show, but by pressing enter on your keyboard, the form is submitted :)"Oh okay. Then I will try again tomorrow. I never use the Enter button to submit. So weird. Sorry the form is a little off. Hopefully, if you do another giveaway, it will be complete. Thanks for the heads up hon :)
David wrote: "Just curious, are you participating in the giveaway? I see you liked my page and twitter but didnt fill out form so thought id ask."I did, but I didn't see a Submit button for the form, so I thought it went through when I click Post Comment. If is didn't go through, I think you need to fix the form because it didn't have the usual Submit option :( Sorry about that, blogger can be a pain sometimes. Want to just go back and make a separate post with the other links?
David wrote: "Im trying haha. I have alot of books to read, but doubt people care for my reviews haha so Im just taking it easy, reading one book every 3 days."Same here, tired, but as long as I am reading, I will live LOL! I am reading a lot of books too, but I get so busy, I don't finish them in the time I want to. Don't be discouraged about the reviews hon, they help no matter what. But I am with you, I am taking it easy just a bit. September always takes a lot out of me LOL!
David wrote: "hey no problem, my weekend was tiring, how was yours?"Mine was good, just relaxing. Went to the movies and wasted my money on Dream House. I knew I should have watched Drive, but I wanted a little horror. Oh I got horror, but not the kind I wanted LOL! So that and reading really. I have my plate full of books LOL! Hope you are getting rest hon :)
Thank you for the friend invite. It is very nice to meet, hope your weekend has been going well. Talk later hon :)
Thanx for friending me. :]I never knew u were boricua. Melodia is from Puerto Rico too.
Who do u like better? Wisin y Yandel o Daddy Yankee?
I looked up your book and it's not available! :OIs it because I'm in the UK? They don't have it for me on Amazon and I'm completely gutted!
:) No, there's not is there! I get to engrossed in my books and time just flies by! College is alright, but im behind in my work :( Plus it's my last year this year, so in a rush to get it all done!
Pahaha! Well, I best get on it then, shall I?I'll buy it as soon as I've finished the book I'm on and then write a BIG FAT AWESOME review on it and recommend it to my friends! :D
Hahaha!By the way! I hadn't heard of your book before, but I think it sounds really good! I'll definatley check it out at some point! :D
Hey David! My Goodreads profile is being retarded so I don't know how you answered my questions! But I accepted you anyway!- Thanks for the add!
:D
I would start off with some of short stories first. Get a feel for him and history of the time period he was writing in. It took me a while but I learned that reading older books is like working out; it hurts at first and seems almost impossible but if you keep at it it becomes easier and much more fun. That's the danger of writing, I suppose. Some stories just cut too closely to the heart to ever be safe writing.
Yeah, Hawthorne is like that. He grabs a social issue head on and delves into it. It takes a little bit to find the rhythm of his writing since he gets a little tedious at points, but it's well worth it.
