M. Garzon rode horses professionally for ten years, until an injury prompted a career change. She returned to school and completed a BSc; then, for good measure, an MBA. After several years of toiling as a business consultant, she turned to writing in a desperate bid to regain her sanity. A mom of two fabulous children, she lives in St-Lazare, QC and considers herself extremely fortunate to be a writer.

Blaze of Glory by M. Garzon
"Blaze of Glory is a story I'm pretty sure I will always remember. It was extremely captivating. Tea's step cousin Jaden ends up coming to stay with her, her twin brother, Seth, and their stepfather, Dec. He instantly becomes a pain in her side, un..." Read more of this review »
Elements of Fiction Writing - Scene & Structure by Jack M. Bickham
"This is a classic book on writing technique, focussed on writing one particular kind of book. I'd call that kind of book "action-oriented popular fiction" - basically a thriller or suspense novel. That's not to say that the techniques aren't usefu..." Read more of this review »
I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell by Tucker Max
"Oh please. Am I supposed to be amused? This little prick recalls his "true life" biography of fratty, immature romps around town being a dickhead to fat girls and having sex with everyone in every way. I've never heard of someone shitting and vomi..." Read more of this review »
I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell by Tucker Max
"This book makes me embarrassed to be a man. The fact that it has sold 400,000 copies makes embarrassed to be a reader. That it's justified as bathroom reading makes me embarrassed to own a toilet. To folks who happen to like it: hey, to each his o..." Read more of this review »

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams
“A towel, [The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy] says, is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have. Partly it has great practical value. You can wrap it around you for warmth as you bound across the cold moons of Jaglan Beta; you can lie on it on the brilliant marble-sanded beaches of Santraginus V, inhaling the heady sea vapors; you can sleep under it beneath the stars which shine so redly on the desert world of Kakrafoon; use it to sail a miniraft down the slow heavy River Moth; wet it for use in hand-to-hand-combat; wrap it round your head to ward off noxious fumes or avoid the gaze of the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal (such a mind-boggingly stupid animal, it assumes that if you can't see it, it can't see you); you can wave your towel in emergencies as a distress signal, and of course dry yourself off with it if it still seems to be clean enough.”
