However, I find that writer's block is often my cue to go back to prayer and let the Lord refresh and re-inspire me. I want to receive and release His counsel.

Sometimes the block is there because there is something more He wants to teach me before I am ready to share any thoughts on that particular subject. That could take hours, days, or even months, in rare cases, to work through. If I patiently wait it out, when I do get the urge to move forward again, what I have to say will be much more useful for my readers than if I had pressed forward on my own.(less)

He commented at length on the anger which is consuming not only the world, but the Church as well. He pointed out that even anger over injustice, if not handled correctly, can lead us into bondage. One thought in particular I cannot get...

“My prayer time alone with the Lord Jesus is more important than any other thing I do each day. There in the secret place, the devil's plans are shattered and God's victories are won, evil is thwarted and blessings are unleashed, sicknesses are overcome and sin is denied its sway over the lives of the weak. Our God is an answering God.”
Lee Ann Rubsam

“God is more concerned with our character than with our achievements. Achievements have importance only in the realm of time. Character is eternal. It determines what we will be through eternity.”
