Goodreads Author

Born
Chicago, The United States

Member Since
September 2009

Bill Palmer was born on Chicago’s South Side and raised Catholic and a White Sox fan. He’s still a White Sox fan. He attended two of the last three World Series games to be played in Chicago (probably ever): Game Six of the 1959 series, when he was about the age of The Fireball Kid, Danny Voss, and Game Two of the 2005 Series with his son. Although he currently lives in Los Angeles, the Sox are still his team: You can take the kid out of the South Side, but you can’t take the South Side out of the kid.

The Dodgers open tomorrow so open a free Kindle copy of The Fireball Kid April 5th and 6th.

Bill Palmer Deb wrote: "Hi Bill,
I started your book last night. It is HILARIOUS!!! I love it. I'm working on a couple other books too so I will probably finish your book by next week.

I don't know if you've read it yet..."

Hi Deb,

Thanks for making my day! I'm so glad you're enjoying it so far. I also took a look at your book and entered your giveaway. I looked at the first couple chapters and your descriptive style reminds me a lot of daughter's. That's a good thing - she's written 3 YA books under contract for Alloy Entertainment and has her agent pitching a couple of other projects she developed. I think she'd enjoy your stuff so we're both gonna read it. And thanks for the book recommendation. I saw it advertised just the other day but hesitated. I'll check it out.

Thanks
