About this author

Writer and musician. Or should that be musician and writer? I'm very much interested in the musicality of language, and the languages of music.

An interesting fact: I have an Indian drone box named Estragon, or "Estragon the deluxe shruti box" to give him his full title.

I've finally started on the follow-up to Verruca Music. It has a working title of "to nature". With no capitalisation, of course.

I'm reluctant to call it a novel. At the moment I'm unsure what it is. Maybe it's best left that way. read more »

“however as things stood nothing seemed to have been mentioned with regard to the abyss so one can only presume that it was currently keeping itself to itself which it must be admitted is the ideal state of affairs for an abyss generally”
