The newspaper she is the proudest of was Teen Scenes and Family Scenes. Elvis Presley and Mayor Loeb of Memphis wrote the send off articles for teenagers and family in the first edition. She became well known throughout the South, for writing the best and most sought after resumes and cover letters that drew the attention of the media. She then became "The Resume Lady" and was guest speaker at graduations, educational programs, and was a regular television guest on television. Although she no longer owns it, "The Resume Lady" is still in business in Memphis, Tennessee.
Her most treasured jewels are her family of six children. In her spare time she enjoys playing Scrabble. She has won many awards in her writing, and has one published children's story with other authors in some Southern libraries. She gives credit to God for her talent in writing for children, young adults, and whatever stories that HE has put in her mind. She wrote Ayoka's Prophecy nine years ago and decided it was time to share it with others. (less)
