About this author

Gretchen C. Hohmeyer was born in the Adirondacks of New York State in 1994. By the age of three, she had already taught herself to read by making her father read her the same books over and over. Though the earliest recorded bit of writing she has is from age nine, she’s pretty sure she was writing from the second she could hold a crayon. For kindergarten thru fourth grade Hohmeyer attended a Waldorf school to which she gives credit for teaching her how to wield her imagination. At the age of twelve, she began her first novel which she finished a year later.
