She has a weird obsession with books like Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Pride & Prejudice, and adores Thrillers and Dystopian novels. To say that she lives in her own dreamy wonderland is an understatement.

As a child, her whole world was fantasy-based reality of tree huts, artistic endeavours, musical creations, and story inventions. She would only come back to the 'real world' to do the mundane things like feed the dog her broccoli or brussel-sprouts under the dining table.

To be honest, I don't believe in 'writer's block'.
I believe in writing 'issues' where you get a little stuck. I believe in being emotionally tired - where you just don't have the will to think creatively because all of your energy is being sapped by other things in your life... but writer's block? No. Stumbling Plot Blocks - yes. (less)

Cecelia McKeeIn July 2014, my mother’s cancer forced her into a 22-hour operation to remove her jaw, and build a new one. It was a nail biting time, seeing the strongest woman I had ever known be reduced by something so affecting. I went up a day later, nervous of the unknown. I eventually found the right ward, and walked into her room. I thought I had the wrong one, until I saw her eyes sweep over me.

This book was absolutely fantastic... anybody going through self development whether they are separating or not should read it. It's a good reminder to those who need it to take a little time for yourself, and give yourself a break.
