Trix, I'm just sorry you didn't enjoy it as much as I did. I'll have to re-read it. I think I may have read it together with it's sequel, Rough-housing, so I may have sort of blurred the two into one book in my head. What I liked were the D/s nuances, (unless I'm mixing it up with a totally different book in my head--which is entirely possible) and how accepting Bram was of Jamie's hang-ups. I saw a lot of subtle texture in the book...if you didn't, it makes sense that you wouldn't have liked it as well as I did. Again, :( I'm sorry you didn't.

Hope your next read is more to your tastes.
