People tend to be generous when sharing their nonsense, fear, and ignorance. And while they seem quite eager to feed you their negativity, please remember that sometimes the diet we need to be on is a spiritual and emotional one. Be cautious with what you feed your mind and soul. Fuel yourself with positivity and let that fuel propel you into positive action.Steve Maraboli

This was a fun read and it starts out with vivid imagery. I bought it months ago, finally got to it while in the lobby of a math center where I take my kids, after school, and I was totally transported away to the opening scene. Nice!

Katina Ferguson is on page 204 of 328 of Coming Up for Air: Just started chapter 7, of 10, and I've underlined tons of favorite lines from the book already.

The scene and descriptions of internal conflicts are pretty poetic too -- not purple, but actually poetic.

Katina Ferguson What is it about Grass (by Sherri S. Tepper)....I can't seem to really get into it, though the story is interesting. I'm only doing a few chapters at a time before I feel like I want to do something else. I'll finish the book before long but geeze...I think I'm waiting for some real action. 5 chapters into it and still waiting...

Katina Ferguson Ever had your toddler say words that sound like profanity? When my youngest was learning to say frog it sounded like the f-word (yes...frog had a K at the end of it instead of a g) and when she learned to say fork it sounded like the f-word too, but now she's 2, speaks well enough and is starting to play around with blending sounds and making up new words. Her latest creation is "foh-kie foh-k"...what am I supposed to do with that???
