“People tend to be generous when sharing their nonsense, fear, and ignorance. And while they seem quite eager to feed you their negativity, please remember that sometimes the diet we need to be on is a spiritual and emotional one. Be cautious with what you feed your mind and soul. Fuel yourself with positivity and let that fuel propel you into positive action.”

is on page 204 of 328 of Coming Up for Air: Just started chapter 7, of 10, and I've underlined tons of favorite lines from the book already.
The scene and descriptions of internal conflicts are pretty poetic too -- not purple, but actually poetic.

Thanks for adding me as a friend! I will check out "The Artist's Way!" Thank you for recommending it. :)
Dah! Never mind. I see it now. (smh) It's way too late for me. Should just turn in now before I miss more of the obvious stuff staring me in the face.Ciao!
I've created a new list called "Must Buy Smashwords Books". If you have a book on Smashwords please add it to the list and let the voting begin :D
I just killed a gnat. Y'know what that means? He won't try to fly up my nose when I sit down to write. That's what I call thinking ahead ;).
Get a free copy of my e-book (a novelette) today. It's a short read and I'm confident you will like it. Use coupon code ZW49C to make the book free at check out. Why free? 'Cause I would love for you to get to know me (as a writer) without having to enter some kind of contest to get a no-cost opportunity to see what I'm about :)Fergyville Episode 1: The New Plan

Enjoy!
One book down, another to go. The pile is getting thinner :). Up next, A Job from Hell, by Jayde Scott. Ranks #1 in the YA Must Reads of 2011 (listopia)...is anyone else reading it too?
How many Goodreads authors plan to participate in Nanowrimo this year? Have you already started to plan your novel?
Finally knocking a few books out of my to-read and "currently reading" list. Finished Room and 4-hour work week, on to Minding My Peas & Cucumbers by Kay Sexton (she's an author here on Goodreads...check her out when you get a chance --> http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...)

Hey Ellen the honor is mine! You have such an impressive set of accomplishments as writer :) Thank you for accepting my friend request :)
What is it about Grass (by Sherri S. Tepper)....I can't seem to really get into it, though the story is interesting. I'm only doing a few chapters at a time before I feel like I want to do something else. I'll finish the book before long but geeze...I think I'm waiting for some real action. 5 chapters into it and still waiting...
Ever had your toddler say words that sound like profanity? When my youngest was learning to say frog it sounded like the f-word (yes...frog had a K at the end of it instead of a g) and when she learned to say fork it sounded like the f-word too, but now she's 2, speaks well enough and is starting to play around with blending sounds and making up new words. Her latest creation is "foh-kie foh-k"...what am I supposed to do with that???
