About this author

Peter von Harten has been writing since he was a young child in elementary school, during which time he would often construct stories on notebook paper and staple them together into books. It wasn't until 2010 that he would pen his first original novel, "The Orphaned Ones".

Prior to that time, his greatest strength in writing lent itself to poetry.

Peter's favorite genres are horror, science fiction, fantasy, and young adult coming-of-age tales.

When he's not writing, his hobbies include producing electronic music, collecting foreign and indie films, television dramas, religious and philosophical studies, world history, learning new languages, and catching half-price appetizers at Applebee's with his best friend and singer-songwriter, Addie.

“It's now very common to hear people say, 'I'm rather offended by that.' As if that gives them certain rights. It's actually nothing more... than a whine. 'I find that offensive.' It has no meaning; it has no purpose; it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. 'I am offended by that.' Well, so fucking what."
