Phillip J. Johns was born in Coventry in 1980, before moving to Nuneaton where he spent most of his formative years. He escaped at the age of 22 when he left to study at university. with degree in hand, he spent the next several years 'finding himself' (also known as not having a clue what career to take).

Fortunately, he discovered he had a talent for writing, and has set himself the unrealistic task of attempting to make money by peddling his stories.

After 3 long years of work, Liberator's Ruin is the production of this ambition, and is the first of many works.

Having seen how the wind is blowing, Phillip has jumped onto the ebook bandwagon and has become an indie author.

He is currently hard at work on his next book, Serial Psyence

Volume 2: almost finished

Finally! After many months of work, I've finished the 2nd draft of volume 2 in The Runaway series. There's been a lot of changes in the story; the main thrust has remained the same, but I wasn't happy with how it was going, so once I'd finished that first craft, it was back to the drawing board.
