I LOVED That Boy & That Wedding! I cried & I mean boohooed... I laughed so hard my 9 year old kept asking me to read what was so funny... I devoured each book in a day & I am ANXIOUSLY awaiting for That Baby!

I'm glad that my books made you smile!! Phillip is pretty dreamy. I think there's a Phillip out there for everyone, you just gotta meet him. I think that's the thing I love about the books. They are both just about regular people you and I might be friends with. It makes the idea of meeting your own Phillip seem possible. And that's what modern fairy tales should be about!!!

Well thank you. The first book in the series will be out early this fall, the second will come out the week of Christmas.

Well I can tell you that the next book is going to be called That Baby :) We need to find out what Danny and Lori will have. Danny seems to think it's a mini quarterback.... But it won't be until sometime next year. I have very little of it written. My next book will be the first book in a new series.

The 13th was my goal release date. Like that's what I was pushing myself through the holidays to achieve. (And also why I didn't bake all the goodies or decorate for Christmas like I usually do.) The reason it was my goal, was because that is the date of the wedding in the book, so I thought it would be cute!
I am however, not going to meet that goal. The book is done, and is currently at the company where I have it transferred into all the ebook documents. As soon as that is done, I will upload it immediately, but it will probably be at least another week or so.

You're welcome! And yes, I've been blessed with a lot of great reviews for the book. Goodreads is an awesome place and it's so much fun to interact with everyone. And there is a sequel. That Wedding. I originally planned it as a trilogy. That Boy, That Wedding, That Baby. But after That Wedding, I'm introducing a new series!!

It's okay. Kinda like Twilight, I will admit, I was Team Jacob. Her and Jacob had this amazing chemistry. And Danny and JJ had great chemistry too. I'm getting ready to do a meeting with a book club and was thinking about how that party in the cornfield was so pivotal in her life. If her parents hadn't died, I think her and Danny would have dated. I think you're right. They would've had an explosive relationship. It would have been hot. Lots of fights, breakups, makeups, and then the final huge breakup. They may not have been able to be friends after that. I also think if they would have ended up together, it would have ruined Danny and Phillip's relationship. I also think she would have had better taste in guys in college. I also think her and Phillip would have gotten together sooner. Her heart has always been with Phillip.
I just finished writing the sequel, That Wedding, which is coming out in mid Jan. If you decide to read it, you'll hear more about college, what her and Danny's relationship was like in college, how her and Lori's friendship grows, and just how adorable Phillip is on a day to day basis!!
I didn't read the book, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, but recently saw the movie. I didn't really like it, like it upset me, but the movie really affected me. Hopefully that's the sign of a good story!!
