Born and raised just outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I'm a eclectic Wiccan with a deep and devoted love for animals, especially cats and wolves.
Worked as a veterinary nurse in a 24-hour veterinary ICU for over 15 years. Also volunteer time at a wildlife rehab, and doing TNR (trap-neuter-release) with feral cats.

I currently live in Philadelphia with my boyfriend, nine "special needs" cats and a tankful of misc fish.

Have been reading since age 3 1/2 and wrote my first story when I was 8 years old. Although I have had several short stories and magazine articles published, "Wiccan Shadows: Book One of the Wiccan Sisterhood" is my first published novel.

It has taken me a few years, but Wiccan Moonlight--Book 2 of the Wiccan Sisterhood series--is finally published!! It's available at Amazon and BN.com in print and e-format.
The first book of the series, Wiccan Shadows, was also re-released.
They are paranormal romance novels about a witch coven and shapeshifters.
The first book got rave reviews and won a few awards, and I'm hoping the second wi... Read more of this blog post »

“Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”

SW Hammond Hi Lori!

Thanks for reaching out! That "Who I am was once important. What I am now is only to be experienced..." post was from the prologue of my new novel coming out in a couple of months, The Final Book: Gods.

Your Wiccan Sisterhood series looks really cool, I'll for sure have to add it to my list--I really dig supernatural! We'll have to keep in touch,

Sean

I only have 2 book left and I am willing to do a trade. Come by my page and leave a comment letting me know if you still want to. Oh yeah, it will to Moonwarriors Guardians of the night. The first book is even hard to get for me. I am looking into getting it on digital form by a different publisher. So, come by and let me know if you still want to read book two, it still stands by itself as a good read.

Until next time . . .

Lori Schiele I just finished reading the 5 pages that Amazon offered and the book sounds quite interesting. I would be pleased to write a review, but would need to read more of the book. Why, may I ask, does it cost $400?!?! That is *way* beyond my ability to pay, since I am on Disability. If you would still be willing to trade books, I would be most interested in reading it, as well as the second (which is more within my ability to purchase).
My only "unkind" comments at this time is a number of typographical errors (not your fault, I'm certain). The other is your--in my opinion--overuse of adverbs. If you utilize a strong enough word, you do not need adverbs and I seek to do that as often as possible. It makes the book flow better.
Still, I would be most interested in reading the book and would definitely be able to provide a good review. Please let me know.

Lori Schiele It will be a pleasure to read the excerpts at Amazon. I was wondering if you would be interested in doing a direct book swap. I've been doing that with a few other of my author friends. I mail you an autographed copy of my book, "Wiccan Shadows", and you mail me an autographed copy of your books. Let me know if you are interested, either here or on FB where we are already friends.
