About this author

Born and raised just outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I'm a eclectic Wiccan with a deep and devoted love for animals, especially cats and wolves.
Worked as a veterinary nurse in a 24-hour veterinary ICU for over 15 years. Also volunteer time at a wildlife rehab, and doing TNR (trap-neuter-release) with feral cats.

I currently live in Philadelphia with my boyfriend, nine "special needs" cats and a tankful of misc fish.

Have been reading since age 3 1/2 and wrote my first story when I was 8 years old. Although I have had several short stories and magazine articles published, "Wiccan Shadows: Book One of the Wiccan Sisterhood" is my first published novel.

WOW! I can't believe how much time has passed since my first blog entry. Guess I'm not much of a natural blogger, although I always seem to have plenty to say.
Glad to say that "Wiccan Moonlight: Book 2 of the Wiccan Sisterhood" is finally in its final stages. A year longer than expected, due to my own health issues, and the tragic death of my editor, Linda Kichline at Imajinn Books. It took se... Read more of this blog post »

The Sight was a well-written book and the author had very few inconsistencies about wolf behavior (such as when he spoke of wolves sweating, which they don't). My main issue with the book was the vast number of characters and trying to keep them all...more

I am a fan of Kelley Armstrong, however, I much prefer her werewolf books (Bitten, Stolen, etc). This book follows a necromancer and although it was well-written, it just didn't hold my interest the way some of her other books do.

“Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”

“People say that what we’re all seeking is a meaning for life. I don’t think that’s what we’re really seeking. I only have 2 book left and I am willing to do a trade. Come by my page and leave a comment letting me know if you still want to. Oh yeah, it will to Moonwarriors Guardians of the night. The first book is even hard to get for me. I am looking into getting it on digital form by a different publisher. So, come by and let me know if you still want to read book two, it still stands by itself as a good read.

Until next time . . .

Lori Schiele I just finished reading the 5 pages that Amazon offered and the book sounds quite interesting. I would be pleased to write a review, but would need to read more of the book. Why, may I ask, does it cost $400?!?! That is *way* beyond my ability to pay, since I am on Disability. If you would still be willing to trade books, I would be most interested in reading it, as well as the second (which is more within my ability to purchase).
My only "unkind" comments at this time is a number of typographical errors (not your fault, I'm certain). The other is your--in my opinion--overuse of adverbs. If you utilize a strong enough word, you do not need adverbs and I seek to do that as often as possible. It makes the book flow better.
Still, I would be most interested in reading the book and would definitely be able to provide a good review. Please let me know.

Lori Schiele It will be a pleasure to read the excerpts at Amazon. I was wondering if you would be interested in doing a direct book swap. I've been doing that with a few other of my author friends. I mail you an autographed copy of my book, "Wiccan Shadows", and you mail me an autographed copy of your books. Let me know if you are interested, either here or on FB where we are already friends.

Rusty Nugent Thank you for being my friend. I would be honored if you can write a book review for my books. You can read 10 free pages of my first dark fantasy book on amazon. Heroic werewolves vs evil vampires and other evil creatures. Here is the link please share it with your friends : http://www.amazon.com/dp/1413726593/r...
Enjoy! Please tell me what you think about my writing skill by posting a message on my profile, Amazon, or Barnes and noble. Thank you so very much.
