Age of the Zombies: In the Beginning (Science Fiction & Fantasy)
1 chapters — updated Apr 27, 2011 03:55am
Description: When you’re dead, you’re supposed to stay dead. Right?
The survivors of a remote survey team are recovered, one succumbs to death from an unknown element that attacked his body, quickly altered his DNA, and left scientists baffled. The world’s leading scientists and doctors have no answers and have no possible cure. In desperation, they elevate the world’s EWIDS (Early Warning Infectious Disease Surveillance) protocol and form an international task force with the most elite doctors and scientist in their fields to investigate the potential threat to the world.
Samuel Pike, a retired Marine Corps Master Sergeant with a special ops background, is called on by longtime friend Rena McClure, an infectious disease specialist representing the United States.
Together (with the representatives from Russia, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Japan) they travel to a remote location deep in the heart of the Amazon rainforest to look for answers. What they find is not what they expect.
