About this author

I am an African American poetess and the author of the anime-style book, The Society On Da Run: Dragons & Cicadas, which was a bookazine/online pulp series of short stories, a "book/novel blog" (now ended). it is now a Subscription Book of flash fiction and poetry toppling 340,000 words. “To all those whom seek the iron words of the community: if your book is good, it will stand on its own. Be it a short story, a novel, a novella, a chapter book, a poetry book, a chapbook, a manga or a graphic novel...it will seek reviews by itself. You need to do nothing with it. Do nothing but write. Give up review seeking and focus on writing, for that is what becomes you in the end.”

“When he removed his robes, you could see the hundreds of scars and bruises that shamelessly decorated his body. Huge black bruises, long scars that came from sword lacerations and whips and new wounds that bled fresh red blood.
The Dragonboy's father had no idea his son suffered.
That's because the boy never told.

“He taunted me, "Pony boy, pony boy," because I liked ponies. Pony boy. He always came to vent his anger of dragons on me. They must really like us. They hide behind their Wasp Queen and pretend to hate us dragons, but in truth they love us. Why else would they bother with fucking us? That sentence probably turned you off. Thing is, I'm a very vulgar boy.

“Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”

Alexis I just love Maple Leaf, L'Poni :) It reminds me of the soundtrack for Drakengard, and it definitely got me off to a good start for the day. Thank you!

Shambhawi P. Ahhh I hadn't noticed your reply until you popped in on my profile. It is too early on the week to dissect the working of this intricate of of communication and its notification tactics. I apologize for my lack of information.

The word is fantastical, as is the content. I consider myself a convert. As the one who pulled me in it hereby designate you the task of introducing me to more fantastical clusterfudges.
Your email has been received and handled accordingly. I already has more handlers than I can care for but I manage to get hold of matters requiring my review drom time to time. Thank God for that.

My FB is suffering from the same form of acute neglect my school assignments are familiar with. I shall endeavor to rectify this error as soon as possible and add you in kind.

I see you are familiar with Clusterfudge XD. It is a fantastical word, isn't it? A reply has been sent through the electronic messaging system. I highly suggest a sacred off-limits email for business and/or matters such as this one, but do not create too many electronic handles or thee will loose track of them.

PS: I has v1sited FB to add ur page 2 my page's faves.
(I visited Facebook to add your book's page to my book's list of favorite pages).

Shambhawi P. My email is a clusterfudge of things I don't need and deals I don't care about so sometimes I happen to lose sights of what is important in there. Lemme go and brave the vines for getting to your sensitive datum.
I think there is also an apology for being a careless kid with the worst management skills the millennium has seen here somewhere.

Ooooooooo I wanna join! I got an email for that yesterday. I'll join that and NaNoReMo (visual novel month), although I'm very late for the latter.

Keep on writing poetry~! Mine is........I haven't gotten to it :( but that's only because I've been writing stories for tomorrow's update and *still* revamping Dragon War 1-3 and working on an outline for the collaboration story. I found out the contest has a $20 entry fee so I'll have to use money from my lovely parent to enter the contest. What's Camp NaNoWriMo? Is that a place where people can talk about their NaNos?

message 5: by Shambhawi

Shambhawi P. Ohh.. my story suddenly grew into something bigger than a short story. I think I'll be writing it for Camp NaNoWriMo on April. I've still got the poem going for me though. A little tweak and a few edits and I think I'll ready to send it by tomorrow.

How's your going on?

I have this little bud for a gothic short story jumping in my head. I think I'll do two entries - one poem and one story. And Thanks once again! :D
