A Denver native with ties to the Midwest, Patrick K. Dawson has always had a passion for the arts and creativity. His first novel Lessons in the Journey won a Readers Favorite's Bronze Medal and has continued to garner positive reviews and new readers. He has been ranked as high as 7th on www.goodreads.com New Authors to Read. His second novel Miracles from the Ashes is a completed manuscript targeted for 2013 release.

Mr. Dawson is also a composer, lyricist, and singer whose music and compositions have been sung in concerts, churches, and schools and two of his songs received Honorable Mention in the www.SongDoor.com 2011-12 International Music Competition in Nashville. I know that some of my readers are wondering what is up with the release of book two and the standalone sequel? I haven't dropped off the face of the earth and the book is on the road to publication.
