I write part time while working full time, and I was first published in 2011 thanks in large part to my younger brother. He found some writings of mine on our old 1990's Macintosh computer back home, which included a couple novel-length manuscripts, and did a lot of the leg work toward getting me published. My hope someday is to be able to write full time while still supporting my family.

I'm the grammar and spelling guru of my family, and I tend to rewrite more than I write. (A habit I'm trying to work on.) I also enjoy swimming (when it's warm enough in South Dakota), photography and scrapbooking. I enjoy reading pretty much anything I can get my hands on, whether on my iPad or in printed form.

I also review books on my Wordpress blog.

There’s this quote from the Bible I’ve been thinking about lately: “For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.” Different translations of the good book each phrase it a little differently, but I like this version the best.
