Description:
In Life Lessons, MPD detective Mac and high school teacher Tony decided that a relationship in the closet was worth the difficulties involved. Now they are briefly separated by Tony's trip home for the Christmas holidays. On the Florida beach, Tony contemplates the joys and stresses of a hidden relationship, while in the snows of Minnesota Mac tackles a murder case that hits close to home. And in the evening, over the phone, they try to touch each other with words.

Thanks for accepting :)
LOL I hope I said I always accept =D not reject. omg I don't think i could reject anyone ever. Even the ones who wanted to throw my book at my head =D. (maybe the ones that wanted to throw their Kindle, but that's more out of self-preservation than a comment on them!)
Hey Kaje, Just wanted to say that I love that you mentioned lutfisk in your book. The problem is that I really really want lutfisk now.
Yes, I am one of the crazy people who love lutfisk :)
Not yet. It went to lines, so it should be about 2 more weeks, but might be 3 if the line editor is busy. It needs lines/proofing/formatting and then will release on the first Friday after that is done. I will post on my blog when I know. That's MLR - no advance warning but no waiting :)
Merry Christmas to all - if you happen to be a M/M romance group member and online today, you can sign up for a chance to win my holiday short story Where the Heart Is from MLR here.
Kaje, I just finished reading your story in the GSA group. It is so heartwarming, so refreshing. You have me now as a fan! Can't wait for the finished novel. Can I be a beta reader, please?
Haha nor do I but I don't have your excuse. . (being an author that is!!!)Thanks for the add. *hugs*
Wow, thank you to the librarian fairy who put my new novella up on GR within hours of me posting it on my website - you are amazing!
Hi Kaje, thanks for accepting my friendvite. It's a pleasure to meet you and FYI, i really love your books.Arzu
If anyone is interested in another snippet of my writing, I put a YA short up on the YA M/M Romance group. It's on my Self-promotion thread. This one is more of an "It-gets-better" story than a romance, and only about 7,000 words. Although the guys in it are begging for a full YA novel. Let a couple of characters move into your head and they never want to leave.
Thanks for the friend Kaje. I just this second finished BC LL#2-I loved it. I am waiting for the 3rd so get to writing. :)
I'm looking for a Beta reader for my Hot July Days short story (14,000 words). Ideally someone who is male (because I'm writing in the male first person for the first time and I want to avoid the chick-with-a-dick effect) and who has some experience with college in the early 1980's (I was there but so shy I think I missed most of it). But I'd happily take one or the other if I can't get both. Obviously since the thing is due June 21st this needs to happen soon. I don't need proofing (although if you want to point out typos...). This is a more sweet than hot first-love story, with no kinks. If someone is interested let me know. -Kaje Harper
