Tom Hillenbrand is a German novelist and columnist. Before becoming a full time writer he worked as a section editor for the online edition of "Der Spiegel".

His culinary mystery novels "Teufelsfrucht" and "Rotes Gold" revolve around Xavier Kieffer, chef and accidental detective from Luxembourg.

"Teufelsfrucht" and "Rotes Gold" both made the #1 spot of the Luxembourg bestseller list.




Dass Journalismus in Zeiten immer weiter schrumpfender Budgets und immer lachhafterer Zeilenhonorare immer weniger Spaß macht, hat sich bereits herumgesprochen.
