“Turning the corner, she saw the dark figure of a man, John, pushed up against the side of his bed cast in the light of another stained glass lamp. She fought the simultaneous instinct to jump away and move closer.
“You shouldn’t have come,” he said through gritted teeth.
“I had to,” she insisted, taking a step forward. “It sounded like you were in trouble.”
He laughed without humor. “Damn right I’m in trouble.”

“Pulling her eyes away, she figured it was best to keep such questions to herself. “You could have just, you know, asked me out instead,” she offered, though she wasn’t sure why.

Hey, Shawn! I entered the book giveaway with Hayley, and I hope to win, because I REALLY want to read these bad boys. I am sort of obsessed with angels, and have not been able to find anything good to read about angels. You can see my dilemna.

I'm great thanks for asking. Sorry for the late reply I was on vacation. Well my favorite books include: the Iron Fey, Need, the Drake Chronicles, Dark Guardian, the Summer I Turned Pretty, How to Ruin, Hush Hush, and Fairewalker. What are your favorites? Have a great summer vacation!
I hope to read that book soon.It's hard to decide which book I'm going to buy every month, there's just too many great books to choose between.
I probably will find something on your lists, it seems that we have a similar taste in books.
