I'm very influenced by music, and I like to have a theme song in mind when I'm writing a story. I'm currently working on a story about two men reuniting after 20 years apart. As I was driving to work, I heard a song by 3 Doors Down that captured the feelings of the protagonist as he reaches out to his first lover, a man he wants back more than he's ever wanted anything.
