Lush Life by Richard Price
When I first read this book, I didn't think much of it but it keep coming back to me. Every time I'm in the East Village, I think of scenes from this book that I didn't even know that I remembered. Now, I couldn't forget this book if I wanted to.

Motherless Brooklyn by Jonathan Lethem
I read this book before I moved to the neighborhood in Brooklyn where I currently live and where this book takes place. When I moved there, I kept having this weird feeling like I'd already lived there. That's the power of this book.

The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness
I liked it enough that I want to read the second and third ones (I just haven't gotten around to it yet). I'll reserve all other judgment until then.

Wathira Nganga Hey Trevor,
when's the Children of Paranoia sequel coming out? Don't leave us hanging here!

I love the fact that you're still thinking about Children of Paranoia after having finished it. Warms the heart. And yeah, you see stories like that sometimes. One of the nightly news shows recently had a story about a girl who left the Fred Phelps church and how none of her family will talk to her any more. It really makes things hit home.

Trevor Shane My pleasure. I consider anyone who even thinks about reading something I wrote a friend.
