Morning, Kim,

Thank you for the kind words, and for starting my morning out with a grin. I'm so happy you're enjoying Gibby making her way through the world. That girl is an inspiration to me.

My cream city farmhouse was built in 1901. Throughout the years it has been polished up, but many of the original details remain. Like the lovely beams in my living room, the wood floors, and my fireplace is larger than my first apartment. (It was designed to cook wild game.) There's a big red barn with a white silo, and out back a stand of woods is home to deer families. To me, it's perfect, and I'm so lucky to have found it.

That's what I think about that:)

Hugs,

Lesley (less)

I've never actually blogged before, but I'm excited to give it a shot, mostly because I was asked to jump on board by my friend, writer extraordinaire, Heather Gudenkauf (http://www.heathergudenkauf.com/) New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of THE WEIGHT OF SILENCE, THESE THINGS HIDDEN, and ONE BREATH AWAY. I've loved everything Heather's written, and am excited to dive into her new... Read more of this blog post »
