Love Dog (Literature & Fiction)
0 chapters   —   updated Mar 28, 2016 10:11PM
Description: In 2011, Masha Tupitsyn published LACONIA: 1,200 Tweets on Film, the first book of film criticism written entirely on Twitter. LACONIA experimented with new modes of writing and criticism, updating traditional literary forms and practices like the aphorism and the fragment. Re-imagining the wound-and-quest story, the love narrative, and the female subject in love in the digital age, Love Dog is the second installment in Masha Tupitsyn's trilogy of immaterial writing. Written as a multi-media blog and inspired by Roland Barthes' A Lover's Discourse and Mourning Diary—a couple in Tupitsyn's mind—Love Dog is an art book that is part love manifesto, part philosophical notebook, part digital liturgy. In 2015, the trilogy culminated with Love Sounds, a 24 hour audio history and essay of love in English-speaking cinema.

Leaning-Good Dear beautiful MashA,
I just come to say, "AloHA!"
Hope you will say back to me, " LuLA!"
Have a Great Day, my AngelinA.

Jeremy Hi Masha!

Here’s wishing you a nifty New Year filled with noiseless noses, neato nicknames, noble Nebraskans, gnarly narcoleptic nebulas, and novel novels about nut-eating narwhals and novercaphobic gnats.

-Jeremy :)

P.S.—I’m currently offering autographed/personally-inscribed copies of my novel, Vacation, with free shipping for those in the US. If there’s anything you could do to help me spread the word about this, I’d really appreciate it. Feel free to click here for details:

Masha, I have added your book Beauty Talk and Monsters to my to-read list.

Simone Hey Masha--

I just ordered your book and am looking forward to reading it. It appears as though a lot of our interests/aesthetics overlap. Love your photo as well :)

Simone
