Romanian-born (no known association with vampires). Compulsive reader. Barely decent, but extremely lucky wife. Doting mother (of the worst kind). Hooked on YA literature. Music lover. Indie soul. Warrior-tempered. Industrious writer. Smart mouth. Perpetual optimist.

WHERE: Bucharest

LISTENING TO: Days on the Hill - The Coffee Sergeants

CURRENTLY READING: Abhorsen, by Garth Nix

Hi, guys. Sorry for the long AWOL interval. I was busy falling in love with Garth Nix, and I’d just like to say this: if you haven’t read “The Keys to the Kigdom”, do it now. Really, NOW! The man is a god (as my friend Mariana promised – thank you again, babe, for opening my eyes).

Awesome. I loved Ms. Bachorz's Candor, and I was not disappointed by Drought. I will DEFINITELY read the sequel (s) because this is an extremely well written story, as unassuming, brilliant, and fresh as Candor. So I want to know more. Great read.

More of Ramona's books…
“He lowered his mouth to mine anyway, close enough that our lips almost brushed for a millisecond before his glided across my cheek, his breath laying a fiery trail from the corner of my mouth to my ear.
"I'm not going to kiss you, Lily," he whispered. "I'm patient. I'll wait until you want it bad enough."
[...]
"You'll be asking for it soon," he added. "No hesitation.”
Ramona Wray, Hex: A Witch and Angel Tale

“Elementary, my dear Watson."
"That's a misquotation, by the way," I countered without thinking. Which might've made more of an impact if I'd stopped grinning like a cretin.
"See? Ten minutes and you already know I read Sherlock Holmes. Just imagine what you could discover if we went out on a real date.”
Ramona Wray, Hex: A Witch and Angel Tale

“Before I knew it, my daily schedule had started to look a lot like this:

Monday: Woke up, thought of Ryder; went to school, stared at Ryder; had lunch with J, gaped at Ryder; went to PE, brooded over Ryder's absence; went home, thought of Ryder; took a drive "accidentally" passing by Dave's Garage, spied on Ryder; came home, thought of Ryder; had dinner, no appetite due to lack-of Ryder; went to bed, tossed and turned thinking about Ryder.
Tuesday: See above, with minor adjustments.
Wednesday: Ryder wasn't in school, my world collapsed
Thursday: Same as Monday and Tuesday
Friday: See above.
Saturday: Nightmarishly long, boring. Drove by Dave's Garage twice, hoping to see Ryder.
Sunday: See above, minus the drive-by. But, yay, tomorrow I'll see Ryder in school! God bless Mondays.”

Ashley wants the action, I want the context.
Are we having fun, kitten?
PS: Why not a boxing match?
You think it won't accomplish anything?

Oh, yeah, we're having fun alright :-) Ashley just PM me with the same question lol. She also asked if you really wanted a boxing match :P But no, I don't see that accomplishing much. I need you both! (in one piece, preferably) You make an awesome team.
Nah, Ashley wants the Victor bits, the setting, explanations, etc.

Ramona Wray Funny, I was just expounding on this in the PM... No, you're not too literal. You're more centered, if anything. I would say Ms. Kittredge is on the right-side extreme. Like smn else I vaguely know, lol

message 17: by Ramona

Ramona Wray I knew a real guy with eyes like that. They're pretty cold and scary in reality, lol. You've got a PM btw

message 16: by Ramona

Ramona Wray Lol, no, I don't know them. They're models. I just purchased bits of their portofolios. Ryder is Scandinavian, Lily I think is American, Lucian is Spanish. Models :-)
