Brian McGackin is the author of BROETRY: POETRY FOR DUDES (Quirk Books). He has a BA from Emerson College in Something Completely Unrelated To His Life Right Now, and a Masters in Poetry from USC. He enjoys Guinness, comic books, and Bruce Willis movies.


The World Cup may be over (that Germany win pushed me to 62.5 points, a mere 1.5 short of my goal), but I’ve still got plenty to write about.

Cute graphic memoir about dental troubles (which terrify me) and general preteen/teenage trials. It's a lot of fun, and I'd recommend it for any young person with similar issues, or really anyone looking for a quick YA GN read.
