Zoë Brigley Thompson's first poetry collection, The Secret, was published in 2007 by Bloodaxe. It was an UK Poetry Book Society Recommendation and was long-listed for the Dylan Thomas Prize for international writers under the age of 30. She has won an Eric Gregory Award, the English Association's Poetry Award and a Welsh Academy Bursary. Her writing has been published in The Manhattan Review, Calyx, The Times Higher Education and PN Review. She recently became an associate editor of Polarity, the British magazine of surreal art and writing. She writes a blog The Midnight Heart <www.blogs.warwick.ac.uk/zoebrigley>, and she edited the feminist essays, Feminism, Literature and Rape Narratives (2010).
