About this author

I found my love for writing during my senior year of high school. Without realizing where it would lead, I chose the school newspaper as an option class and soon stepped into the role of co-editor. I continued on at the University of Wyoming, earning a BA in Journalism with a minor in English Education.

Although I lived most of my early years in rural Montana, I later struck out on wonderful adventures to Chicago, New York City, and Prouts Neck, Maine to work as an Au Pair during the summers and throughout college. Besides filling many journals, I worked for the college newspaper, published several poems, and started experimenting with writing music.

After graduation, I accepted a position as the Sports Editor of the Jackson Hole Guide and mo...more

“Sing, O barren one, you who did not bear;

and let the curtains of your habitations

be stretched out; spare not;
lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes,

“You know, we can quote the written Word all day to our friends, but nothing will touch them like our own hunger and love for the Word himself. It is not dutiful love that attracts but love freely lavished from a heart familiar with the gardens of heaven.”
Amy Layne Litzelman, This Beloved Road: A Journey of Revelation and Worship

“Your heart of devotion and obedience is not in vain. Who knows but God how many people have come near to you and were forever changed simply by the fragrance of his love in you? Who knows but God if he will put you before kings and leaders to speak the truth, redirecting the future of nations? Who knows when that small crack in the dam of our enemy’s plans will give way and God’s glory will truly cover the earth as the sea? Do not become distracted or discouraged by the death around you. Death must always give way when the life of Christ enters the picture.”
Amy Layne Litzelman, This Beloved Road: A Journey of Revelation and Worship

“Sometimes, to overcome a hurdle before us, we don't need to search for new truth or understanding of God so much as we need to live out what we already know.”

Eugenia Price, Early Will I Seek Thee

“I said to the man who stood at the gate of the year, 'Give me a light that I may tread safely into the unknown.' And he replied, 'Go into the darkness and put your hand into the hand of God. That shall be to you better than light and safer than a known way!”

Amy Litzelman I am SO not a salesman, but I am totally convinced of the goodness of my Creator and confident in the power of His love and words to change us and our circumstances. I've seen it in my own life, over and over again. He is amazing!

With that in mind - just a quick reminder that today is the last day of the $2.99 SALE on my eBook. Take a minute to check it out. Maybe the things that fed me and kept me alive will do the same for you. Blessings!

Amy Litzelman When we seek, we will find. If we find ourselves in a place we don't want to be, maybe we should re-evaluate what we are seeking.
