About this author

Hi Folks! Maybe I should be writing this bio in a third person voice, but I think that I'll go ahead and do it in my own.

I'm the introverted, daydreaming, shy, well-read middle child of Hispanic, Roman Catholic parents. A childhood full of tons of moves and tons of culture shock gave me the inspiration to learn about other people and what goes on in their heads. A six-year stint in the United States Navy and tons of travel further fueled in me the desire to explore what people say within them that they would not speak aloud.

A fascination for the secrets of women, anthropology, cooking, nature, werewolves, travel, and the military are usual themes within my books.

I'm completely open to speaking to my readers and fellow writers. Feel free...more

The End of Thunder and Lightning: Alanna's Fall (Free Novella) (Science Fiction & Fantasy)
20 chapters   —   updated Oct 07, 2013 02:14PM
Description: This is a 100% free novella I published on blog in order to give prospective customers the chance to sample my work before they purchased it. This story came to me in a dream one night. It is the story of Alanna - a warrior of the Clan of Thunder and Lightning. She is a powerful warrior - the most powerful one of her clan. However, since the day she was born it has been foretold that her father would kill her (before she reaches the age of twenty) in order to secure her power. It will happen. Though what she does up until her death is not known. Find out the rest by reading along!

Awesome, awesome, AWESOME!!! In reading this series, I feel like I've stumbled on a hidden goldmine. I can't wait to get to book two. I am already dreading reading the last installment in the series (so far).
"When I came to, I saw that I was standing above my deceased body. My afterlife body was intact. I had no injuries and no ailments. I was fine. I breathed a sigh of relief. I put hand before my face and saw it. I wasn't transparent. I then looked a..." Read more of this chapter »

Cyndia Rios-Myers Thank you for that!!

Patricia Graham Hi Cindia,
just want to drop a little note and say thank you for signing on as my friend. And there is not anything wrong with being a introvert. My mother is one. Writing is the perfect outlet to speak that you normally would not say
